Apollo 11 Final Flight Plan Flown Apollo 8 Silver Snoopy With Jim Lovell Letter

A Silver Snoopy lapel pin flown on the Apollo 8 mission and presented to a worker in the Cape Flight Crew Operations building by Apollo 8 astronaut Jim Lovell. The back of the pin reads in part "Sterling r" which matches a pin known to have flown on Apollo 8 (crewpatches.com). Complete with an 8"x 10.5" letter on NASA letterhead, which is signed by Lovell, presenting the pin and stating that it was flown on Apollo 8. The letter was folded for an envelope, but was laminated flat. The pin is a bit tarnished with age, but still excellent condition.

Early McDonnell Douglas Space Shuttle Proposal Model Mike Leinbach's STS-135 SRB Hold-Down Bolt Presentation

A heavy 6"x 4"x 3" half of a hold-down bolt from one of the SRBs used to launch STS-135, the last Shuttle mission. Each SRB used 4 bolts, so there were 16 of these presentations made and given to management personnel, including Leinbach, the Launch Director on the mission. Presented on a 14"x 10" wooden base bearing a thin stainless plaque. Excellent condition. From the personal collection of Shuttle Launch Director Michael Leinbach.

Flown STS-41C Challenger Soft Top Tile
A large 11.5"x 13"x 1" insulation top tile flown aboard Challenger on its STS-41C mission in April 1984. It is stenciled as SCRAP and with the numbers TRP01-9-6-005. The '9' indicates it is Challenger (OV-099) and the '6" means this was removed readying Challenger for its 6th flight, meaning this tile flew on its 5th flight, which was STS-41C. Red RTV still on the underside that was used to attach it to the shuttle. Great condition.
