Eugene Kranz Flight Control School Graduation Hardhat

A helmet presented to and worn by Gene Kranz at a graduation ceremony in 1991 in which he was the instructor and where his Phase One speech was compared to General Patton's address to the Third Army by the students.  Excellent condition.

A 5-1/2" DC-X Delta Clipper patch flown on the Clipper's eighth and final test flight on 7 July 1995.  It is mounted on a color certificate and with a certification letter on the back.  These two items are sealed in a plastic wrapping and are in excellent condition.

Two Early NASA Publications, Gruene

Two early NASA manuals including one formerly owned by Hans Gruene, the Deputy Director Launch Operations Directorate at NASA's Manned Space Flight Center.  The first book is Advanced Approaches To Fatigue Evaluation (SP-309, 1971, 680 pages).  Gruene's name appears at the top left of this volume.  The second book is Vehicle Technology for Civil Aviation (SP-292, 1971, 445 pages).  Both are a bit discolored with age but still in good shape.

Wernher Von Braun Pencil Notes, MSFC Working Paper

An 8"x 10½" sheet of paper containing notes from two German rocket scientists, Stuhlinger to Von Braun, and annotated in pencil by Von Braun back to Stuhlinger. Von Braun signed his name only "B". A complete explanation of these notes are given with an accompanying information sheet. Nice condition.
